Imagine this: you’re home, sitting at the kitchen table drinking your morning coffee, and all of the sudden you hear a loud impact noise that shakes the whole house around you. You’re shocked & confused, but then you realize you’ve been a victim of the unimaginable; a vehicle impacted your home.

This was the unfortunate reality for Dale Bower, a first time homeowner of a quaint house in the Denver Metro Area.

Though this sounds like quite the nightmare, Dale felt better after his insurance told him it will all be taken care of by NuBilt, a one-stop shop for all property damage needs.

After speaking on the phone with a production assistant, we learned that we weren’t only taking on the task of restoring Dale’s front porch to a sturdy state after it was impacted by a vehicle, but we also had to provide a new entryway that flowed with the aesthetic of rest of the 100+ year old house.

Luckily, NuBilt has had ample experience cleaning, restoring and repairing properties that have been impacted by vehicles.

You may be shocked that we have had so much experiencing repairing something that you don’t see everyday, but just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening! There are 20,000 vehicle-into-building crashes every year in the United States. That’s 50 to 60 accidents every day.

We empathize with a property owners loss, but also assure them that it’s their property damage is fixable.

First, our estimator Scott promptly provided project estimates so that insurance could cover most of this damage.

Then, project manager AJ took it from there, helping every step along the way by ensuring each step in reconstruction process was being completed correctly. He recommended materials (door style, paint color, railings, carpet, etc.) and kept Dale informed as the project moved forward, answering any questions he had along the way.

When it was finished, Dale was delighted!

NuBilt was able to complete the project ahead of schedule, and even match the brick so that the porch blended right in with the home’s older counterparts.

“1913 house now has a fresh feel and nice facelift to greet us as we come home. For a 1st time homeowner this (surprisingly) was a great experience.”

We’ve heard time and time again that we leave properties in better condition than they ever were pre-loss, and this case was no exception. So remember, if you ever find yourself in a pickle with property damage, it actually could be an opportunity to make the space of your dreams!
